Hello:

Would appreciate some advice here.
I have a Ikelite housing for a Nikon L6. I purchased a Ikelite DS51 along with manual EV controller. I understand that I set the DS51 on TTL and then adjust the ev controller to varying settings.

Questions:
1. The DS51 will fire based on what the manual controller tells it to. So DS51 output will be constant irregardless of the lighting conditions. Correct?

2. Since the L6 does not have a manual mode, will my pictures exposures be all over the place? Some will be overexposed and someunderexposed. I don't mean slightly over or under exp but significantly.

3. Is this set up going to fail? because its too unreliable exposure wise.

I realize the camera has limitations but I am working on putting the D200 in a housing eventually.

Appreciate input from my friends here.
