If you staying in provo how far do the dive boats go?
Is it worth staying in the grand turks or another one of the islands instead? is the diving way better?
where is the best diving?

When were there we used Caicos Adventures. They pretty much took us to West Caicos every day. It was great wall diving.

The ride out can be anywhere from 15 - 45 minutes depending on the site. West Caicos is a popular destination from Provo and is about 45 minutes. Northwest point and Grace bay are much closer. As far as distance from shore you will not be out of sight of the shore with a quarter to half a mile being the average. On West Caicos you will be diving much closer to shore, a hundred yards or so.
