TSandM:I found the solution to THAT one yesterday. Put the female with the awesome SAC in doubles. It'll go up. I guarantee it.

STITCH:The Red Head: You are correct my girlfriend has a much better SAC rate than myself she usually ends a dive with at least 200 psi more than I do in my tank.

Diver0001: I am not going to get into a pee'n match with you but my question never was define deep / shallow breaths my question was how does that lengthen my tank life.
Diver0001:I've never noticed that. I notice a big difference if the water is warm enough to wear a light wetsuit instead of the drysuit (drops from 12 to about 9 or so) but the difference between singles and doubles for me is only about 1/2 litre per min. .
