Not always true. I have dove with many people who's bouyancy was spot on but they just were heavy breathers by nature. Nerves also makes someone use more air. AKA newbie.
 
Some guys skip breathe to extend their dive, particularly if they may be diving with a female who has an awesome SAC. ;)

The problem here is not heavy breathing, it is quite the opposite. It is not breathing enough.

Nerves can contribute to skip breathing though.

I found the solution to THAT one yesterday. Put the female with the awesome SAC in doubles. It'll go up. I guarantee it.

Wiat until you try steel doubles and stages, then it will double. :D
