I went diving yesterdayat Monterey, and after the first dive (1 hour) I found
black water inside the lens of my Princton tech Dive light I got for Christmas.
I have only used this light twice, and after the first time I used it I took off the lens to see if it leaked, and it was fine.
Could the black gook I saw, happen in just 1 hour in Salt water? It might have something to do with the batteries, and salt water.
I cleaned it out, and it still works. I am wondering what I can do to stop this problem in the future. Or should I see about returning it.

Really well, dry it and then before you use it again use some lube on the o-ring first. Not much, just enough to keep it moist. And don't really crank it down tighter than it has to be to seal.
