Hi,

I recently bought the housing for my Canon Rebel T2i by Sea&Sea with the associated strobe YS-01. When I put one end of the fiber-optic cable on the Canon internal flash and take a photo, the YS-01 fires. When I put everything in the housing (settings unchanged) it doesn't work. Any idea ?

Are you saying that the if you hold the fiber optic up to the internal flash the strobe works but if you put the camera in the housing with the flash in the up position and the fiber optic plugged into the top of the housing nothing happens. That would suggest a suboptimal fiber to me but you need to elaborate a bit more.

Bill

Do you have the fiber optic plug inserted in the correct spot on the strobe? You can plug it in to 2 spots on the face of the YS-01. The dark section is the sensor. The other plug is for slaving a second strobe. Make sure it's in the dark side.
