Why not use the European repair centres. No customs and cheaper postage.
I used the UK center to repair my housing good service and no issues.

I use E-PL3, PT-EP05L with the 14-42 however I don't shoot video.

I find the lens frustrating as the minimum focal distance is (10 inches 22cm) is too long while the 14mm equivalent 28mm is not as wide as I would like.
Adding a wet lens helps the macro but I have not tried stacking 2 yet.

I used to use an Oly 8080 which did sterling work until I flooded it (yes operator error), before that the venerable Nikonous system, lovely piece of kit.
I think I will upgrade camera and go to a Nauticam housing then 60mm and 9-18 or equivalent.

I didn't know there was an Olympus repair centre in the UK. Do you have the address and phone number please? Olympus distributors here in Sweden refer to the repair centre in Germany but I would prefer to send my lens to the UK. I'll give them a call if you give me the number.

I checked again and found that the zoom is in fact smooth and easy to turn when the camera is not in the housing but with the zoom gear on the lens. It is only when the camera is in the housing that there is a problem, so it is a housing problem, not a lens problem. The weird thing is that the housing's zoom wheel is easy to turn when there is no camera in the (Olympus) housing, so it seems to be an ergonomic design fault.
