Problem With Stahlsac Catalina Cargo Pack

I purchased a Catalina Cargo Pack in April and have
used it for about three trips. On my last trip to
Florida one of the metal arms of the pull handle broke
off and dropped into the retractor area and I cannot
get it out.

Has anyone had this happen? Can I fix it? I called the shop where I bought i and they said it should be under warranty. I emailed Stahlsac a few times now and have not heard back. i will try calling them Monday. Any Stahlsac reps here?

I do not have the receipt, but the shop said they may be able to get the reciept for me if the manufacturer needs it.

I spoke with the customer service and they said to send it back for the repair

so alls well that ends well.
