Well on my singles rig I have a 26# wing from DSS and It is more then I need for the diving I do. I even use HP100steels. I would recommend getting a smaller wing with maybe 5# more then you exactly need. A 45# wing is bigger then I would need per-say for doubles so ya thats a big wing.
I have seen the doubles wing used for singles diving with added cord to tie it back to the backplate to eliminate the Taco-ing.
