Hey there -

This may be a stupid question, but how much does the equipment weigh? :06:

Say you have your BCD, tank, maybe a couple of small weights.

I know there is no exact figure as there a hundred different variations, but a ballpark figure would be good! (preferably in pounds not kilos!)

A guesstimate ? ? ? 55 to 75 pounds based on a single tank setup, recreational diving, temperate water.

my lp85 weighs 45 pounds full - rest of the stuff maybe 55 pounds total.

when I double them, that's 90 pounds in tanks, plus the bands, manifold, gear, canister light, I am looking at 100 pounds easy.

I dive cold water. Single tank, BP&W, weights, light, reg setup, drysuit, fins - likely around 75 lbs. Add back up gear that I haul around in my truck: 2-4 tanks, backup regs, save a dive kit - another couple of hundred pounds.
