I bought Ikelite set JVC-FM1 with V8 light set. On a third or fourth dive I've noticed that light is flickering under water on occasions. I checked and no water is in it or anything that I can figure out.

Any ideas what is it and how to fix it?

You can see flickering right in the beginning of this video YouTube - Fjord, Taba, Egypt, July 24th 2010

Have you tried a new set of batteries? When the batteries are nearly dead the light will flicker when turned on. This flickering should stop after a few minutes as the light is able to regulate the remaining power. However it will resume each time the light is turned off and back on.

A new set of batteries should eliminate the flicker completely.

Ah, that might be the issue. I still have that set and will check and see.

On the related note. Would rechargeable C batteries work or I need set of regular ones?
