We have a new Pro Plus 2 and just used it for about 12 dives but will not be able to dive again until Spring (about 6 months). Should we store with or without battery? and Why?

I just leave the battery in mine. That's two fewer chances to screwup the o-ring and the PDC is off, so the battery isn't going to drain much.

I agree with Phil. Leave the battery in. The battery will last for a good couple years, or hundreds of dives so it isn't worth it to take a chance of goofing up the o-ring and seal. When you go on a dive trip, just be sure to take an extra battery along.
PS: Lithium batteries don't behave like carbon or alkaline batteries which sometimes leak when they are not used. A lithium battery can remain in a device for 10 years or more without damage from leaking.
