Pro Force Fins?

Hi

I am new to this site have looked through some of the threads and enjoyed them. I hope someone out there can help with my question.

I need new fins - why is there so much choice it's driving me crazy, every time I think I have identified a pair that may suit me I find more to look at!

My 'problem' is that I have had a hip replacement on one hip and have osteoarthritis in the other. Makes no difference to my diving, in fact have just qualified as a DM. I need new fins but because of hips don't think I can use a pair which are too stiff.

Can anyone out there recommend a pair?

Oh Patsyann what have you done: a force fins thread? Force fins provoke a variety of reactions here; some people think they are a gimick others love 'em. I'm sure about 300 people will post shortly to tell you which side of the fence they fall on! Anyway the most important thing in your position i think is to try out whatever you decide on if at all possible before purchasing - ultimately only you can decide if any product is right for you.

I had the pleasure of trying the force fins. I liked them - just not the price. Minimum work compared to the other fins I've tried (Note: I haven't tried every single fin on the market).

I'd have to agree with isurus and say that the best way to find out is to try them for yourself. Maybe you'll like them, maybe not. But be sure to try a variety of fins. It's like dating: you have try a lot of them before you find the right one for you.

Force Fins ROCK! I have 3 pairs of fins, but prefer my Force Fins over the other 2.

Not a force fin fans here, but lots of people like it so it must be some good. Produced locally here at SB and definately a comfortable choice for new fins. Their designs seem indestructable.
