Greetings!

I need info. on diving in St Thomas. I'll be on the Caribbean Princess cruise ship docking at Charlotte Amile on tuesdayA.M. Any info. on scuba operators and/or recomended dive sites will be apprciated.
Thanks
Big Ev.

I enjoyed my dive at Coki Beach. Coki Beach Dive Club is a good starting point. It is an easy shore dive, costs less than a boat trip, and is an excellent place to go if you are part of a mixed group of divers and non-divers.

Within a 5 minute walk from Coki is the Chris Sawyer operation. He runs a pretty good dive ops. You will find lots on him if you do a search on here....and do a search on the web as he has a web site as well.

The other suggestions are good. Check out Blue Island Divers they are good and VERY close to the dock of the cruise ships.

My family is going on another cruise to the area islands this coming Christmas and I've booked with Blue Island. They also offer Nitrox if your so inclined.

Also check out This Link for mor information about the island

We are going to St. Thomas in 2 wks on a cruise & are diving with Blue Island as they will pick you up from dock. Were looking at Chris Sawyers 1st, but was looking for easiest and this will keep us from lugging gear 1/2 way across island.

We were on the Grand Princes in 1999 and at the time Princess used “Underwater Safari” for the dives booked through the ship. You hopped on their boat right at the pier and they run you over to their dive shop for any needed gear. Since it’s been so long ago and also that was my first certified ocean trip I can’t really say if they were a good dive operation or not. While I didn’t have any complaints, I had no experience to base an opinion on.

RADDiver, will you post a review of your dives with Blue Island when you return? We're booked with them in December and would love to hear how your experience was.

No problem DiveMe I will let you know.We are newbies , but have been out with several different operators so I will see how they stand up against them. We are hoping for some great dives. We also are diving St. Maarten, but that will be through the cruise line so I dont know who they use.
