Did all you OFWF pack your gear away for the winter:confused: Still lots of great diving left before the Chainsaws come out . Water temps are in the range 40-to high 30,s the lakes have all cleared up greatly and the weather has been great the past week or so . Have noticed a little ice on some of the lakes the last cpl of mornings mainly in the bays and its only skim ice so no worries only about 1/4 of an inch at best.

SO GET OUT AND ENJOY IT

Dove Kempenfelt (JC Morrison) on Thursday. Good vis and lots of fish. Shot some cool video. Lots of people fishing??? would have thought more people worked but they were great with staying off while we dove (flag attached to the mooring)

Vis 10 to 15

water temp 46

Hopefully going to try for plunge in Innerkip or Sherkston before Christmas if they are still taking visitors??

You're right....where have all the "FREAKY" divers gone..........

Was out in my 7/5 mm Wetsuit Sat and Sun in Humber. Nice and tropical, 41F. :D

Sirius,
whats the viz like @ Humber now? I know it changes pretty frequently. I was in there at the end of September and it was pretty bad! The guys I was with just happened to forget to mention the manichan - at least I don't remember them telling me.. A little freaky when you approach the legs. HAH:rofl3:

Is this Humber Bay you are talking about? Do tell, do tell! I am new to diving around Toronto and was wondering about the Bay ... What's there to see, going in from the shore? (I've heard about the Sligo but I hear is not a shore dive..) Where's the manichan? Do you need a permit from the harbourmaster? I haven't really found anything about the Bay on the Web :-(

Enlightenment appreciated.
