I have no problems using a G1/4 or R1/4 in the Bauer part. But let's shorten this discussion, let's talk about R1/4 only.

Please note all the various materials sizes and difference of the safe working pressure between brass and stainless. Note they tell you the working pressure and with an industry agreed safety margin. The fitting adaptor you are after for a 300 bar gas service pressure is not available and for two very good reasons.

Now I am confused. Swagelok pdf page 14, product 4-RBT-2RT seems to be exactly what I need. Male 1/4, female 1/8 tapered Thread RT, small size, 316 SS, 447 bar.

Or do I overlook again any detail?
