Re: UTD announces a 4 city - 4 month "Demo Day" west coat tour

Last week UTD announced it's official Demo Day Schedule for 2013. The schedule includes a 4 city - 4 month west coast tour, starting in Monterey Bay, CA - July 27, then onto Seattle, Wa - August 17, followed by Catalina Island - September 7, and ending in Laguna Beach, CA - October 26.

"The concept of the Demo Day tour", said Andrew Georgitsis - CEO, "is that after we received so many requests, here in San Diego, to "Try" our equipment, we have decided to take it "On the Road" in the latter half of 2013, and we expect to expand our coverage in 2014. We wanted to give as many divers as possible the ability to "try" something different (UTD equipment) as well as maybe learn a little something about what makes Unified Team Diving so different."

On "Demo" from UTD Equipment will be it's signature products, such as the Z-Side Mount system (single and double tank), the Vision Lighting system (primary and video), the Solar Heating system (drysuit and wetsuit), as well as it's regulators (PZ-1/BZ-1 first and second stages), Precision Fins (neutral and negative) and other products that can be seen on the UTD equipment website. UTD Equipment - Progressive Dive Equipment. The two "new kids on the block" so to speak, products that are unique in the dive industry, are the Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) designed by UTD for divers and the ZUBA surface supplied units that are designed for kids 10 and up. These are really exciting "new products" that will be unveiled and are focused on getting divers and even non-divers out diving and having fun. Plus there will be some educational components throughout the day such as "gas management", proper weighting and so on.

Participation is "Free" and they will be providing food (BBQ) throughout the day.

Exciting news. Because of the overwhelming requests for a Demo Date on the East coast, UTD and Submerged (UTD Dealer in the Washington D.C Area) have just added two Demo Day dates. One at Lake Rawlings in Virginia and one at Dutch Springs in Pennsylvania. (UTD Equipment Accessories).

Your point of contact to RSVP for either or both of these dates will be Jonathan or Tanya at Submerged <info@submergedonline.com>. Please make sure that you RSVP so that they (we) can ensure that we have the right amount of equipment for you to Demo.

On another note, if you are interested in "Demo'ing" the Z-Side-mount system or just the side-mount BCD (no manifold) you do not have to be "Side-Mount" trained. Our UTD Instructors will be onsite to set you up and walk you through "Trying" the units.

With the overwhelming success of the Monterey Bay,CA Demo Days, UTD has decided to add another date to the UTD DEMO DAYS tour. We will be adding a San Diego, CA event at La Shores on August 31, 2013. UTD Equipment Accessories

Come by and check out or try UTD's Z Side Mount system, Solar Heating Systems, Vision Lighting System, Precision Fins, BZ Regulators, X Scooters and so on. We will even be featuring our uniquely designed Stand Up Paddles that are designed for snorkeling, ZUBA and SCUBA. We will be demonstration
(and you can try) how to Stand Up Paddle board out to your favorite dive sites, go scuba diving and return home safely through the surf zone. This is a very exciting NEW sport Stand Up Paddle Board and Kayak Programs - Unified Team Diving

UTD Seattle Demo Days is only 5 days away - Saturday August 17th, Cove 2 starting at 9:00am (UTD Equipment Accessories).

The UTD trailer is being packed as we speak and departs tomorrow morning. This is a final shout out to all those interested in joining us to let us know if you have any special requests. We are pretty much bringing all UTD Equipment line. Come by and "try" / demo anything and/or everything from Solar wetsuit / drysuit heaters, to Z side-mount, to stand up paddle board diving to the precision fins and of course any of the vision light series. UTD produces some of the most progressive dive equipment in the industry. This is a great opportunity to see it, touch it, use it and even talk or discuss pro's and con's with the CEO of the company Andrew Georgitsis.

UTD Demo Days Update!!!

The UTD Team just got back from an excellent Demo Days in Seattle, WA. Thank you all who supported and participated. They posted an album on the Unified Team Diving website with some images that UTD Instructor Jeff Christensen took of the event. Check it out here. Looks like it was a full day of fun and lots of new experiences. CEO Andrew Georgitsis (AG) said that "everyone who tested the Z Side-Mount system was really impressed and loved the advantages it gave them. We will definitely be see'ing some new Z Side Mounters in the Northwest."

On a different note, last week Alan Williams from Rheas Dive Center in Knoxville, Tennessee agreed to conduct a UTD DEMO DAYS in Marysville/Knoxville Area on October 19, 2013. If you are interested in attending and testing any equipment please contact either alanwilliams@unifiedteamdiving.com or sales@utdequipment.com well ahead of time so we can make sure we have it availivble for the DEMO DAYS.

Finally, our next UTD DEMO DAYS is going be more local to UTD, it is coming up on August 31, 2013 and will be at La Jolla Beach, San Diego, CA. We look forward to meeting some more local divers interested in maybe try'ing the Z Side-Mount or learning how the Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Boards / Kayak Paddle Boards (KPB) can take them out to some new fantastic kelp beds or dive sites. Again please make sure to RSVP through sales@utdequipment.com if you intend on attending as we want to make sure to reserve the equipment and have the right food for the BBQ.
