Yeah, it's definitely worth it. I'll try to explain it and not confuse myself.

If you join the Ambassador Club it will cost you $150. It entitles you to these perks:
1) They'll send you a certificate good for a free nights stay (worth the $ right there).
2) It also entitles you to a free room upgrade... let's say you book a Garden View room, with the Ambassador Club you'll be upgraded to Ocean View.

On a previous trip we used the certificate and it worked with no problem.... we also got upgraded but we wanted an even better room so we had to pay for 1 upgrade not 2. Make sense?

You should also join the Priority Club - that's free.

I unfortunately let my membership lapse (plus we booked through Funjet) so all the upgrades cost me big bucks.
