We were exploring an inland lake called Lake Bababu in Basilisa, Dinagat Is., Philippines and discovered an underwater cave that connects the lake to the open ocean, hence the abundance of marine life. A strance looking fish caught our attention and showed the photo of the fish to the locals and told us that they havent seen anything like it.

I believe what you have there is a Brown Sweetlips (Plectorhinus gibbosus). The angle in the still shot makes the dorsal margin of the upper lip appear to be the fish's mouth.
