I could be wrong, but i believe when the predator first came out there was not option to change the last stop. A lot of technical divers were asking for the option to change the last stop to 20ft. I know a bunch of us florida ocean divers wanted this option because when your doing drift deco with boats overhead it's nice to be able to hang a little deeper. Shearwater being the great company that they are listened to the requests of the users and made the 20ft option available on a software upgrade.
