I have an Olympus focus ring PPRZ-EP07 for the 30mm macro that I was hoping to use in my new AOI UH-OM1-II housing. It seems just a bit too big in some dimension (I can't really tell once the housing is closed). I'm sure AOI will tell me to order their version, but I just wanted to check in case I was missing something obvious. The focus ring does fit the gearing, and turns if there is no camera/lens in the housing.

I played with it a bit more and I think I can see what is happening. I can get it to move smoothly without a port in the housing, but if I insert a port I can see the zoom knob turn as I rotate the port into place. I think there is just not enough room between the port and the (bump saying Olympus on) the body for the deeper gear on the Olympus focus ring. I don't know how much one can see from the attached bad cell phone picture, but the top of the gear seams level with the tab in the port connection. If I can't source an AOI gear before my next trip I may consider some dental surgery on the Olympus gear.

The AOI focus rings are made of a hard plastic and much thinner than the rubber Olympus rings. Backscatter.com has the AOI LG-OM1-30Macro ring you need, and it shows in stock.
