Hi Everyone,

New to Scuba, and new to underwater photography (although old hand on dry land).

I have recently upgraded from the G10 and WP-DC28 housing to a Powershot SX1 IS and Ikelite housing. The problem I have is how to change the Av, Tx or M parameters once the camera is in the housing. On the G10 you could hold down the S button and use the left and right (macro and flash) buttons.

I can't see how to do this on the SX1. Any ideas or tips.

:dontknow:

Cheers,

Trent

I don't own that camera/housing, but from looking at the housing on the Ikelite website, it looks like the black knob with the red ring, which is located not too far from the shutter release button at the top of the housing, can be rotated to change your shooting mode. If you follow that black knob down, you will see that it has a long shaft that is centered directly over the camera's shooting mode dial.

Great thanks for the info. I had loaded the Ikelite manual, but there was not much on how to control the camera once it was in the housing.

Cheers, and I look forward to posting some images soon.

Trent
