mares power plana
just ordered a pr today, size R
will report on fit when i have them .. couple of days (i hope)

In a size 8 (medium) Santi flex sole drysuit boots I found the Power Planas to be a fraction too large resulting in some lateral movement, not a huge amount but noticeable enough that I decided against purchase.

received the mares "power plana" fins today, size R
size 8 bare drysuit trek boots over neoprene soft socks
boot fills the pocket side to side, top to bottom
nice deep pockets
fit perfect
will do a couple of dives and see if i need to install the extension pieces

Cool... Let us know how you like the fins.

Ended up getting a pair whilst passing through singapore, paid through the nose though. They are different pockets to the quatros. The R fitted firmly with 5mm booties but one toe rubbed slightly. The L were too high so my foot went all the way in so my toes touched the end of the pocket... went with the R.
80 min dive today with no foot pain or the the tight fit becoming annoying. Ptetty happy with these, nice speed with slow leg movements. I rate them better thsn my jets although they have never really fitted me properly so that plays a part..
