Not sure it would have worked... It actually seemed a little loose on the hose. Frankly I'm not 100% satisfied with this one, but at least it has a fancy disconnect that I could connect a hose to to flush it ;) This old bc doesn't owe me anything anymore so I'll probably be in the market for a replacement next year.
