Maybe/obviously I used the wrong expression. You don't need to heat the whole lead volume, just the surface.
I fount this video. Not sure it is the same product but looks the same idea :

This is it. Very easy and inexpensive to seal off lead. No need to mess with head and melted lead.

Until recently I couldn't find it locally. Now apparently it is available. Thanks!

It's identical stuff, the spray just had more solvents in it. So a couple extra coats to get the same thickness. Ive used it for a billion different things.
