Posting pics from flickr.com in a thread-------

Thanks Howard---I've always C&P'ed my pics here from my flickr account @ flickr.com into the above 'Image' icon using the BBCode ----but----when I now use it(starting a few days ago--after the site format change) I get this.:

IMG_1351[/url] by GEAUXtiger, on Flickr[/IMG]

What did you do to get my pic to show up in post #11???....(ie are we still supposed to use the above 'Image' box???????)...tia.........Joe.......

What happened to your post to me???.............Did you 'delete' it ---or did you get zapped???...........lol

I deleted it because apparently it wasn't the solution you wanted.

Although in essence it was the same steps as Howarde's just from your end instead of Flickr's.

Are you talking about (only) 2 steps( ie the 2 hi-lighted in red??)----that would be :

(1)left clicking on the right arrow(Share Photo) icon-----then

(2) C&P'ing the BBCode URL in the Image icon...

I've tried that with zero success...... &---------that's the exact same way it used to be done------before any 'change' to this site.......

In summary, are you talking about anything different than above???..........tia......

This top part is the link to Flickr

This is for the image itself.  If you paste this only, you'll have the image.

This [/url] makes the first part of the url code make the whole image a link to your flickr
[/url]
This last part links the description of the image back to your Flickr.

Howard, fixed the problem(ie don't need the 'image' icon any longer--just C&P the BBCode URL in the message).........Found the solution thanks to my good buddy Caymaniac......see the last 4 posts on the linked(long) thread......:
