Except for times when the marine conditions are terrible, or I'm traveling or I have a really long "honey do" list and work to do around the house, on average, I dive just about weekly as well. I usually get in about 45-50 dives in Jupiter each year and the rest in other parts of Florida (or very occasionally the Bahamas).
If you enjoy shore diving, then I'd suggest Lauderdale by the Sea. You have several miles of great diving that is easily reached by swimming or kayak. Plus you can get to great boat diving in Jupiter, WPB, Pompano/Lauderdale, the Keys very quickly. LBTS also has a very active dive club sponsored by Gold Coast Scuba
If you are exclusively a boat diver, enjoy drift diving and like to see big critters like sharks, turtles, rays, big green morays on virtually every dive, then Jupiter is your spot. Plus one can get to Lauderdale by the Sea or Pompano in about an hour and the Keys in under two hours from Jupiter.
If you are exclusively a boat diving and want to see beautiful reefs and tropical fish, don't like drift diving and want a completely laid back lifestyle, then Keys are your bet. The upper Keys also have some pretty cool wrecks.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably pick Lauderdale by the Sea because of the shore diving and the relatively quick access to other places like Jupiter and the Keys. I could still easily get to my favorite operator, Jupiter Dive Center, in about an hour but also dive with Gold Coast in LBTS as well (and take an occasional trip to the Keys).
