I started scuba diving in 1955, using a Healthways Divair. Became an instructor in 1961 and was one of the originals in PADI---#42. During 1976 or so, I bought a Poseidon reg and loaned it to my brother-in-law a few months later. Long story short, he moved, I moved, and I didn't get the Poseidon back until this afternoon. He told me that he's had it serviced several times, and, in truth, it looks like it just came out of the box. But, by now, is it just a wall hanger, or is it likely to be serviceable?
Any comments or information would be very much appreciated.

Cyklon 300 BEAUTIFUL.

First stage has a cast-in Poseidon Sweden And the emblem on one side and a stamped-in 1225 with a U under it. The second stage has no markings except the rubber surround for the clearing button also has Poseidon and Sweden on it. No markings on any metal parts of the second stage. My memory says Cyklon as well but it doesn't appear on the reg. What more can I tell you? (And thanks for the quick replies!)

Cyklon 300 BEAUTIFUL.

Yup.. the only one they made at that time...the second stage is pretty much unchanged today, but I understand the 1st stage has had some major reworking.

My favorite reg...made over 3,000 dives with one..
