I was planing on purchasing a Poseidon Xstream(the grey one...lol) and i just got my Nitrox cert and i was wondering if that reg was Nitrox capable?

Thanx
Bob

I've got one and it "says" its air only, but I've used it on mixes up to EAN36. I figure that it can't be any worse than any other reg that actually says it can go to 40% O2.

Just about any reg is good to 40%. Most companies will state otherwise about their regs for liability or profit reasons.

Just get a Atomic M1 like me. Atomic states that the reg is good up to 40% or 50% without cleaning in between and 80% with cleaning.

It is rated to the recreational standard of 40% nitrox. I would be particular about this one as this type of reg works at higher flow rates and higher IP increasing the risk if the limit is exceeded. You don't plan on anything more than 40 do you. Ready for a laugh on the side? I met a guy who actually outfitted [b[two[/b] stage bottles with the Xstream deco regulator. Guess he has nothing better to do with the money he could outfit two six other divers with. He said 'this way I know I can count on my stage reg'. <chuckle>
