Getting bored of Nubble Light, Cape Ann sites, always looking for new sites to try. Anyone do any shore diving in Portsmouth area? Specifically, along Piscataqua River in Portsmouth channel/harbor. Supposedly, there are lots of neat sites per:

Currents are tricky and you need to time dive during slack intervals. Supposedly, lots of old bottles, SCALLOPS beds..

Hi,

Have you tried diving in Rhode Island? Ft. Wetherhill is a great place to dive. You can see some tropical fish (jouveniles) in the fall. There are other sites nearby that's worth the trip.

Thanks. As I'm new to area, I have not yet attempted to dive RI.. Last Season, I mostly dove Nubble, and Rockport. I Love Cath Rocks when it's diveable conditions. Open to trying new shore sites this season. RI is sort of a hike from S. NH.. but may be an option when staying at in-laws at Cape and need someplace to go.
