going up there on sat maybe i will see u guys..
Got in the water around noon. On the swim out it looked great, could still see bottom ~20-25', on the granthall it was pretty so so... 5-10' viz.
The better half had some mask problems too so we didn't bother with number 2.
Heard some other people saying how great it was so I'm not sure what we did wrong
. Maybe bad timing on the tides.

Tides and rainy weather have a ton to do with viz in the sound. Wind and current too,,,but if you want to go with us,,,my wife and I some weekend let us know,,,we can show you around Porteau Cove and all the beauty it has to offer bad viz or not.
All the life for the most part will be on the bottom in bad viz conditions and all you have to do is look and see all the awesome Nudi's and Lings etc etc,,,on the deck!
