portable storage device and RAW files

I'm going to join a liveaboard to the Brother's islands and Elphinstone's reef in two weeks. I thought that maybe came the time that I will start making photos in RAW files. For this reason I planned to buy a portable storage device. I thought about a Compact Drive PD7X. Does anybody know if it can store RAW files?

No idea. Most portable devices work very much like an extra hard drive - you may not be able to view every format, but it will STORE anything you put in there.

I agree with Alcina, I think that you can store anything - but I don't know of any portables that can read RAW. The other thing about RAW is that the different camera manufacturers use slightly different RAW formats so even if a device could read one type, it might not be able to read others.
This is the reason I carry my laptop - and the fact that I can look at them at a decent size on the boat!

It stores anything you put on it and it,s incredible fast. Good machine
