Very nice! I have the DC1400 and I am still having problems finding the correct settings with the external strobe.

Thanks! The best I can suggest is to take the flash off of auto.. put the camera in manual ext flash mode... and set the power on the flash manually (start around 20% and go back and forth from there) shoot your hand a bit underwater at the approximate distances your subjects will be at... to get an idea on the exposures!
