Pool fun!!!

This Saturday and the last Saturday of every month the Alpena County Plaza Pool opens the pool to SCUBA DIVERS as a walk in open swim!!. For those wanting to brush up on their skills, try out new gear from Christmas or those just sick of the snow and can’t wait to get the gear back on? The cost is $5 for a two hour swim 4pm-6pm. The pool is reserved for divers but family members are welcome to play around with snorkel or just to play in the shallow end. This sounds like a lot of fun, our club does somthing similar, we rent a pool at least once a month just to get wet during the winter....

We had seven show up to dive yesterday!

One took OW class three or four years ago and fust after his class he purchased some equipment and never used it until yesterday!

One family showed with father and son diving while daughter and grandmother played around on top.

It was interesting to find out that Plaza Pool welcomes divers to ANY of their open swims!
