I am not looking for oppinions on using or not using pony bottles...simple question...do any ops in bonaire rent pony bottles? What about 100 or 120 tanks? Do they only stock AL80?

How does availability of larger tank may influence decision about use of pony bottle?
I visited Bonaire four times and always brought 19 pony with me (safety, since I dive solo sometime). At the same time I never needed larger tanks for no-deco dives (bottom time), unless you are going for tech dives. Main inconvenience with large tank is that you are going to spent time filling it while full AL80 are always ready for you at most shops.

MsUBryan...

I use the 63 cfooters in the cage as my deco tank while staying at Den Laman. And if I'm diving deep (which I tend to do for the first part of my week), I use the 63s filled with Nitrox for my deco gas. Of course, you'll have to go prepared with gear for slinging these tanks.
The pro is that I don't have to rent a deco bottle... and the Con is that these 63s are just a tad big to deal with... especially if you had a 19 cf pony in mind.
