Pompano to Islamorada Wreck Trip

Hello Divers!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Ocean Explorer Charters is running a liveaboard wreck trip from Pompano Beach to Islamorada. We will be diving sites like: Captain Dan, Mercedes, Tenneco Towers, Tortuga, Deep Freeze, Ultra Freeze, Spiegel Grove, Duane, Bibb, Eagle, Benwood, and more. We will also be providing training during the trip (please lets us know ahead of time). The trip includes 3 meals a day, tanks, weights, airfills and a minimum of 3 dives a day for $1000 pp. The trip date is Sept 21st (meeting @ boat on night of Sept 20th) thru Sept 25th. So you get on the boat in Pompano Beach in Broward county and disembark in Islamorada down in Monroe county. That's a pretty long haul - how do people get back to Pompano?

Actually, it a round trip. Leave Pompano, dive on the way down to Islamorada and dive on the way back up to Pompano. It would be a long walk or swim from Islamorada;-)
