? Pompano Beach Hotel (Dania)

Can someone recommend a hotel on the beach in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea where diving is good off the beach. I want to plan a few day vacation for me and the family and would like to "seek" a few beach dives in when I can. I remember I dove off Datura once and had a good time.

The diving here is good from any beach in LBTS.

This place is great, two great pools on the beach off the reef,next to the freshwater shower,parking as paring is tight in LDS,

We had a blast! the reef is nice 3 but the second is a OK swim from shore,3RD is boat dive,
its a hoot to watch the divers, my wife had a high head count on the divers that dropped their speedos= guys, prior to getting dry-ed off and into their cars!as we had a street side room, place is neat and clean!

There are places that rent DPV's (scooters) - so you could easily make it to the "3rd reef" if you really wanted to... For a shore dive though, anywhere around here is pretty darn good.

Probably about 1-2 miles on either side of Commercial?
