How often does it happen?

During an extended surface interval, the conversation wound its way around to regulator warranties and how important or not important they are. We discovered that in our little group of six, we owned a couple dozen regulators manufactured by a number of different manufacturers and none had ever needed service because of a factory problem.

Not counting the periodic (annual/bi-annual) service required to keep the warranty in force and not counting the time you needed service because you drove your car over your regulator, when was the last time you actually had work performed on a regulator that was covered by the warranty?

My fault, I didn't read the question correctly. I voted "With In the Last Year", but I thought the question was about your anual checkup. So my real answer is "Never". Sorry about that..

This is a timely poll. I just had my Apeks 1st stage lock up at 80' so now I wish I had a warranty on the stupid thing. I bought it from a buddy about 50 dives ago. Oh well.
