Point Lobos - 3 for 1?

Does anyone know if they allow dive teams consisting of 3 divers at Point Lobos?

I know that each permit is for a team of two divers, but question is how they apply the rules in practice....

I've heard they do, but I wouldn't want to rely on it with an odd man out. It may depend on what day it is or who's minding the gate.

It is up to the ranger...they do it on an indiviual basis's...My husband, me and our son dive as a threesome and have dove as a threesome at lobos..you have to stay together as a buddy / threesome pair..

I often dive Lobos as part of a three-man buddy team. If at all possible, we try to do everyone a favor and come in in one car.

The rule is for 2-ppl per reservation.
We dive there at the pleasure of the park, so let's not try to push it.... eh?
