Hi all,
Well I'm now the proud owner of a shiny new Transpac. I have a couple of questions, both pocket related.
I bought the smaller QR pockets, and I've threaded them vertically onto the waist strap as per the video, so far so good. They do seem to take an awful lot of force to dump though. It's a two handed job, firstly to pull free of the clips, and then the Velcro. Am I missing something? I'm not sure I could manage to ditch them to hand up on a rib let alone in an emergency. I think it may be easier if they were mounted horizontally, but they do take up a lot of space that way around. I should say that I haven't got any if this wet yet, but I want to be sure I've made the right choice before I do and can't return the pockets.
My second question is around the 'bag' pocket in the back pad. I can see where it is, but I can't see how you could tuck an SMB in there. Surely between the tank and your back would be uncomfortable? It doesn't look right clipped to the d-ring and then tucked up in side.
So many questions!!
