I might have been part of that 2009 thread as that's about when I got mine.

Mine is a Tusa it works mine on the rare times I've used it.

The Tusa Hyperdry Evolution III is a brilliant portable snorkel with a contoured mouthpiece, lower portion corrugated with a great exhaust and a flexible but firm tube that can be folded into a pocket and will spring back into it's original shape for use, and that plastic thing at the top that lulls you into a false sense of security and should be removed.
L/H use only.

Unlike Mr Floppy silicone type folding rolling things that quiver and kink at the first sign of a ripple

At least Mr Piranha Dive is being honest about it all
Piranha Dive Foldable Snorkel w/ Case Holder in Orange!
This uniquely designed snorkel is made with a silicone tube and mouthpiece.
These snorkels are not meant to be used in place of a standard snorkel
