PNWUPS September Newsletter
& Meeting Agenda
While the viz has been so-so, we had a fun outing to Zee's Reef south of Tacoma, and a super multi-day outing with Sea Dragon Charters in Howe Sound, where the visibility was much improved.
September Meeting
At the September meeting we will be covering:
1. A review of Howe Sound, Zee's Reef and other trip shots.
2. Continue review of CS5 new features, including Refine Edge.
3. Trip planning, especially California in November & June Bahamas.
Dives & Travel, and Education
If you are interested in learning more about Northwest critters, consider contacting Rhoda Green and signing up for the invertebrate class at the UW on September 18. At this time Anacortes diving has one opening for their Barkley Sound trip later this month.
September 18: REEF Invertebrate ID Class- Seattle
September 30- October 3: Barkley Sound with Anacortes Diving
November 8-12: Monterey and Pt Lobos
November 15-19: Southern California (Coronados & Catalina?)
June (early)- Bahamas Dolphins, Sharks, Wrecks, and Reefs
As usual, Drew has scored some great room prices in Monterey. We will be talking about dive agendas and logistics for the California and Bahamas outings at the September meeting.
If any of these trips sound interesting, please give Dan a call at 425.418.8755.
