Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to plan a November trip to PNG. Normally I would go for the Peter Hughes boat but they are only diving the northern areas during that time and we would very much prefer to stay in the south.

I have found links to the Golden Dawn which I was on years ago when Bob Halstead owned the boat and it was called the Telita. At least I think it was the same boat?

Has anyone been on board with the new owners or have any other comments about this boat.

Thanks

Golden Goose & Telita are not the same boat, though Bob Halstead does occassionally act as relief skipper on the Golden Fleece, having officially "retired" a few years ago.

I have been on both boats and can vouch for both, though IMHO GD has far better accommdation.
