Any divers out there in the Plymouth MA area ? I have my own boat and make my own ours so will be diving WHEN THE WEATHER IS GOOD. Looking for dive buddies or just reports ! AOW w/ 100+ dives.

Pointdiver,

A good buddy of mine, has a beach house in Harlows Landing N. of Scusset Beach. Though I live in NH (Merrimack) I dive off his beach a lot when I'm staying at my in-laws place on Cape (Dennisport) which is about 25 min away. It's a good place for lobstering and Jack is always looking for someone to dive with. He and I would always be interested in joining you. (esp. since you have a boat)

Waters fine to go in now. In fact just dove this AM. Waters in low 50s. I dive dry and wet but have been diving wet since beg. of may.

I'll send you a PM with my contact info. Have my AOW. Certified in High School in '79 (S. California) I have about 150 dives under my belt. Most of the 150 have been in past year.

Stay in touch. I'm selling my boat, but, I still have it for now.

The pinthis is within range of plymouth and so is the mars (just to name a few great wrecks). I dive mostly with my father (I'm 25) he was certified in '69, but, was "re"-certified a few years ago. We mostly dive wrecks like the Poling - around 100' with NITROX but, we don't really do true deco diving (although we do lots of "practice" stops and always run dives through V-planner). I just bought my first set of doubles, but, they aren't assembled yet.

For the last few years, I've been trying to put toghter a team to dive the Delaware off scituate. It's a cool wreck in about 65', but, it's hard to find due to the fact it's off a huge series of ledges and surrounded by boulders. I have GPS #'s (and a GPS) and headings from Dave Clancy of wreckhunter.net. If the weather ever improves, this would be cool wreck to go looking for with multiple boats and a couple teams of experinced divers.

Mass Diver,
I've been to the Pinthis last summer and the Mars ( though I have never dove it ) is so close to where I live if there was a marker bouy I could see it from the window here. ( I dive wet BTW ). brrrrrrr !
I love the sound of that Scituate wreck hunt, I will keep in touch. Ive got a 19ft CC that 2-3 divers (w/ gear). fit comfortable and can squeeze a 4th diver.

Reef Seal, I got your contact info and will be in touch. Boat is in Manomet so you guys are a short run away !

Pointdiver,

I'm a newbie in Marshfield, and plan on diving the local waters a lot this summer. (And I've got my bug license). I've dove 3 or 4 warm water dives per year for the last 6 years, and got serious and OW cert in April. I'm looking to meet experienced local divers who can show me the local waters. In return - you get a new but concientious dive buddy!

Yak,
Can you dive weekdays this week ? This weather is the best yet !
I will send you a PM w/ my contact info.
The diving is easy as my driveway spills onto the boat ramp here @ Manomet Point. Gets crowded on the weekends though, all you see is diveflags around the point and this weekend will be more so. I have some secret spots though !:mean:

I am in Brockton, I am very new to the Sport so when I get a few more dives in me I will look you up

Yak and I are planning to try Old Canal this Fri AM. We could be pursuaded to do a boat dive if you want to go out Fri..

I'm also open Thursday if you are looking for a buddy to join you.

You have my contact info.. Pls. call me on my cell.

I am looking for a buddy to dive in South Shore on weekdays nights and weekends. I won't be able to do anything this week, but I'll be able to do few dives next week

Mike.
