Yup that's right.

Went toEllisville State Park yesterday 6/11/12 - lousy east wind 10-15 knot sustaining winds. 2 ft chop. Had about 6-8ft hazy viz. Took home some lobster for dinner. It's funny how the Bay works - you seem to hit this 'gradient' and -poof!- you see everything - flounders, stripers (25-35 lb range of course....), lobsters, crabs etc.

The wierd thing is this: Got out of the water - had a fully grown Northern Gannet next to my dive bag who need help really badly - took him home and surprised the family - and brought him this morning to the Wildlife Center of New England - Nice folks. Hopefully he makes it.

Goody do you take a boat to the shore of the park? Just wondering I have been there a few times on the shore from the parking lot off 3A and its a long walk down the trail just to get to the beach about half a mile. I have seen seals there it looks like a great place to go bug hunting.

I always walk. Either I carry everything in a pack and carry my tanks by hand or - if I have my kayak Ill use that as a sled to get everything to the water. Yes, I have seen seals there too - its a nice spot.

Were the stairs down the ledge to the beach in tact? Last time I was there they were all messed up?
