Check out @Jaan 's FAQ and fit pages at FAQ - DRYFOB and Attachment and Usage Tips from DRYFOB Customers - DRYFOB that list the Horizon HX40 -- though I'd prefer one that had DSC.
Thanks, I've seen that. The only one that would apply to me is the HOG pouch but I need some type of buckle for added security. I don't need this thing exiting stage left during entry. I could (and may) use grommets on the flap and some bungee in lieu of clips. I ordered a bunch of pouches which I'll have in the coming days and i'll see which one fits best. I wish HOG sold this pouch on amazon. Also, I cannot find the dive rite one people mention, that one already has a buckle on it.

:-) That's actually my picture from the other thread we're both in; I told @Jaan he could post it.

Really, I was responding to your comment about a VHF -- that page has a picture of a Horizon unit fitting easily.

ahh ok. I'm still a bit leary of using VHF at water level. These guys on boats are 6' above the water and have an antenna even higher that that. Line of site won't be great while in the water w/ 1' or bigger swells. I'm curious of others opinions on that actually. Wifey does NOT want a large container like the FOB one I got so that's why i am looking at the nautilus for her. And having two separate systems for us may be helpful in the event we need it. Now if we get separated for some reason that's out the window.

Is there a name or PN for that dive rite pouch you have? Looks like exactly what I am looking for.

Well... the Nautilus is just VHF AIS, really; it just doesn't support voice.

Sorry; I looked for the DiveRite pouch yesterday and I think it's long out of production.

This (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805739554465.html - archived) looks pretty close, though, if you added a better buckle.

I feel the machining costs (not including materials) would set me back more than this thing cost me. With that said, It is a bit bulkier than I would like. I may draw one up in CAD for others to have machined if they would like. It would just utilize a latching lid w/ an oring seal.
Been down that same thought process; on my "someday" list is to model one up and print it to see if it would really, practically, be that much smaller than the DryFob XL.

Sometimes the only way to stop the voices is to do the sketch. Minimum interior space for my PLB-375+ (without trying to make it really conformal):

I didn't put any work into the actual sealing (o ring, etc.) or other features (probably wants stiffening ribs on the flat faces, needs a tether point,...) but just for a sense of the size.

...and here it is with a very rough sketch of a DryFob XL:

The H life raft hasn't been made in at least 8 possibly 10 years now
Testing out the vacuum packed kiddie pool that slides in behind the BP's padding, lol!!

Yeah I saw that mesh pouch on Amazon the other day and have one coming actually. Is or does the fob holder. Well see what I can rig up to make with more secure during entry

Have you calculated and taken into account the stresses on the rectangular case at 5 atm? There is a reason pressure vessels are cylindrical......
