We just got back from 2 weeks in Bonaire. We stayed at Buddy's and thought it was great. Great friendly staff, great easy diving, great truck/air drive thru. Very safe feeling. Great breakfasts in the morning as part of the package.
We enjoyed Buddy Reef a lot. Even with all the shore diving we did, we found ourselves repeating Buddy Reef over the course of the 2 weeks. Did one dive where we surveyed over 100 species of fish at Buddy Reef. It is just south of Bari Reef, which has the highest fish species count of any site in the Caribbean.
The food was good at both Bella Vista and Lion's den.
We never did go on a single boat dive...
