Got back Monday from a week in PDC. Dove with Tank-Ha for three dives.
First dive was to Moc-che shallow, saw a few fish, not much else, but it was still a nice dive, safety was the first priority for the DM, and it was good to get back in the water after 2yrs. Ivan from Tank-Ha was our DM and was great. Siz in our party on this dive.
Second day was a 2 tank afternoon dive with Barbara from Tank-Ha. Started at Cueva Pargo, again only about 40fsw. Barbara was awesome. Turned out I was the only customer, so I got a personal tour of the reef. We took our time, cruised the reef and Barbara pointed out all the tiny stuff I would have missed. She helped me get my BC adjusted a little more, worked on my basic skills and just had a great time. Was down for about 50 minutes with no issues. Saw a lager head turtle, barracuda, juvenile somthing???, parrot fish, eels, etc... Awesome dive. Vis was 100ft+.
Second tank was at Jardinez, again, Barbara took me on a personal tour, picked up some trash and a snorkel someone lost. Saw lots for fish, coral, etc... BC adjustments worked, better air management, down for 50 minutes then ran out of reef.
I would highly recommend Tank-Ha, they were helpful, safe, accomodating for a newbie and didn't put me in situations where I was uncomfortable. All my dives were in less than 50fsw by design of the Tank-Ha DMs. Boat was clean, well kept and roomy. Being in the fire service, I recognize and appreciate attention to safety, training, and planning. Tank-Ha covered all these points well, I always knew the plan, and was never surprised.
I can't recommend them enough in you're looking for a good dive op in PDC.
