Take a peak on the Cozumel portion of this forum, there was a post (originally by me) started this week on "Best Dives on Coz". There are several replies and good answers. I've been there twice (and going again in 2 days). I wouldn't say that ALL the Coz dives are the same. Some have swim-throughs (my personal favorite), some are more flat, some have rolling "hills", some steep columns. I haven't dove the Playa area (from some of Playacountryboy's vids, it looks cool), but did do some diving around Akumal off of one of the resorts down there... it's nothing compared to Cozumel. Much smaller reefs, less visibility, not as much wildlife to see... in my 4 dive experience.
