I just returned from a week in Playa where I dove two days in Playa and two days on Cozumel. I usually stay in Playa and go over to Cozumel to do all my diving but this time I dove Playa also and had great dives, the water isn't quite as clear but the sea life is unreal. I am sure Playa has several good shops and Dm's but I dove with the Abyss Dive shop and had Todd as my Dm and I highly recommend both.
